Power Repair Service is a very unique company with many capabilities. This company is capable of taking a job from start to finish. James W. Power started this company doing compressor maintenance at field locations in 1965. His three sons, James W. II, Herbert, and Dudley have made PRS one of the largest job shops in

Texas. Our company has survived two generations of family ownership. We are capable of complete overhauls of all types of machinery including, but not limited to, pumps, compressors, turbines, expanders, gear boxes, blowers, and motors. Some of our customers include petrochemical and chemical refineries, mining companies, the United States Navy, railroad companies, marine companies, the Texas Department of Public Transportation, hospitals, and executive office buildings.

Power Repair Service is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors of the Texas Coastal Bend and Contractors Safety Council of the Coastal Bend.

Power Repair Service is an active supporter of community charitable events and organizations. The United Way, Muscular Dystrophy Association, SEA, Junior Livestock Show and Sales, American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, and local school clubs are just a few organizations the company sponsors.
